A journey to self-publication, part the first

Hello, friends! I have been working a little bit each day on my book. I have a book template that I downloaded from amazon.com. So far I know this much: my book will measure 9″ by 6″ and it will have five sections. The sections are as follows:

Part One: My Journey (21 stories)

Part Two: Family (15 stories)

Part Three: Human Nature (16 stories)

Part Four: Pets and Other Wild Animals (22 stories)

Part Five: Alaska (25 stories)

When I get it finished, it will become available on amazon.com as a paperback and maybe a kindle. Also, I local retailer in Craig has agreed to carry it!

So far I have copied my choices into the first four sections, and have chosen the fonts that I want to use.

All of this is of course subject to change without prior notification.

Let me know if you would like to read and offer feedback on my first draft!

Brand new adventures!

  1. Awesome! Are you fine tuning your blog posts and putting them in the book? It’s what I’m trying to do, but it’s not always easy to segue from one to another.

    1. Yes, that is it exactly. I picked my favorites and sorted them roughly according to theme. Will see how it turns out.

  2. I encourage you to persevere in your writing journey. I may currently not have the time to comment thoughtfully on a sample of your writing, but if you like to send me one, I will be happy to look at it.
