Dear friend, readers, and cheerleaders:
I have decided to place this blog on hiatus, and focus my writing energy on producing articles for the Prince of Wales Island Post for the time being.
Meanwhile, I also plan to publish a book of my best essays from the blog. You can help me choose! Please take a bird walk through my archives, and tell me which essays you would most like me to include.
Yes, I think I’ll just go ahead and self publish! Stay tuned and thanks for all the likes and kind comments. You make the world go around.
I will miss your blog so much! However, it sounds like you have a well-thought-out plan for moving forward!
Thank you, dear friend! I think I will take an approximately six-month break, while I write for the paper and put together the book. If you find yourself with time on your hands, I would love it if you would browse through and pick out a few faves for me to include. . .
Go for it! I retired a former blog four years ago and am now making it into a book as well. So excited for both of us!
Thank you! Make sure you send me a link to your book when you have it available.
Congratulations on the new chapter! My votes are for the posts about rescuing the spiders. I still laugh at the picture of you flinging the spider out the door!
Thanks for the suggestion. Done!

Thank you so much for all your support! I’ll make sure to include the spiders.

I sure will. I am going to keep the blog up for the time being, so I can share updates about the book and also maybe a new post or two as the spirit moves me. Have a great day!
I cannot decide- all of them. I am particularly fond on the one about the acorn squash.
Got it! Thanks.
Thanks so much. I will love to read your book when you get it done.
The Other Sleeping Lady. And ones about cat names
