The big C, not so big
My sister Laura wrote the following haiku (and the above title) for me. I find myself cheered by it, even as I gear up for lung cancer surgery on February 9.
Doctors work for you
You are the warlord, sister
Kill the cancer cells
I was even moved to draw a cartoon about it. That’s me on the right.

Thank you, sister. Wish me luck, my friends.
Love the grippy socks!! And a great haiku. Best wishes on the 9th. 👍
Thank you, sister!
good luck!!!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Thank you.
Wishing you the BEST Evelyn!
Thank you, Terry!
I love your cartoon! The way you are jumping up and down with glee, while the Doctor is thinking, I better get this right!
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Thank you, sister.

Let it go. When your shell is intact again, hope only good things are inside. Kevin in Maine
Ha ha, good one! Thanks for the well wishes.
